Manuel Villacellino is currently Chairman of the Governing Council of Universidad Nebrija and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Antonio de Nebrija Foundation.
He also chairs the Emilia Pardo Bazán Forum, which brings together Spain’s private universities, among other institutional responsibilities within the Spanish higher education system.
From August 1995 to August 2005, he served as Rector of Universidad Nebrija, following an extensive career within the Nebrija institution. From 2005 to 2015, he was Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF), before returning to Universidad Nebrija in 2016.
His extensive business and academic experience is reflected in the many academic, executive and advisory positions he has held, as well as in his published work.
