Lilly is one of United Way’s longest-standing Global Corporate Leaders. The relationship spans a century and dates back to World War I, when J.K. Lilly served as a trustee of the community fund created to support those affected by the conflict.
We would like to make special mention of Sarah and John Lechleiter and the Lilly Foundation. Together, they created the Lechleiter–Lilly Grant with the aim of matching donations received and enabling those funds to support our organisation’s core structure during its first five years of operation, allowing us to grow while allocating 100% of donations to the programmes we deliver.
Lilly and its employees are a constant example of generosity, supporting United Way year after year and placing their trust in our model of work.
