Future Ready Mentoring

Mentoring programs are a powerful support tool, creating spaces to work through young people’s doubts and concerns, with personalized attention in which the volunteer shares their experience and knowledge of a professional sector. Young people in unemployment situations who are part of employment programs at various social entities receive support over 4/6 sessions to face their entry into the working world with the support and expertise of their mentor. Volunteers listen to and share their own experience, knowledge and perspectives on their professional field, offering useful information, helping beneficiaries overcome blocks or fears, encouraging them to consider new points of view and perspectives that help them take steps toward their professional goal, with the greatest likelihood of success.
