A training program in photovoltaic solar panel installation for people in vulnerable situations, with a focus on training women. A program focused on economic development, sustainability and social inclusion.
Helping scholarship recipients better understand the importance of photovoltaic solar energy and the industry’s needs, increasing their chances of success for their future careers. This training program emphasizes the importance of being agents of change, also through our professional work thanks to this training, fostering talent and favoring sustainable employment. It emphasizes the importance of photovoltaic solar energy, as a sustainable solution for energy needs, while facilitating labor insertion for a vulnerable group in one of the sectors with the highest employment demand.
This program was made possible thanks to the award United Way España received from ORANGE at the 12th edition of the Orange Solidarity Awards, in the Climate Change category. Under the coordination of United Way, and in synergy with collaborating entities such as EMMA, the Código Venezuela foundation, and the support of the San Agustín de Guadalix City Council, 15 people were selected to receive scholarships. Through MDF, a well-known training school in the sector, plus the support of the Yingli Solar company for holding classes at its facilities, and the Fundación Orange with its digital center, the 15 people have obtained the FP grade C qualification (Professional Certificate) in Assembly and Maintenance of Photovoltaic Solar Installations. This qualification serves as a professional credential and can be recognized in all European Union countries.

I liked it a lot and I've also taken another related module: Project. I'm sending out CVs to redirect my career toward the renewables sector
